1. What is Lolita Kisama and what is your mission?

1.We are an international Visual Kei - Gothic Lolita and Japanese Street Fashion Online Store.
We sell to over 20 countries worldwide and although we are pretty new we have an incredible increase on intrest from around the world, for instance we just had a customer from Israel purchasing from us - unbelievable - and everything happens on the internet.
It is known that Visual Kei is still scorned by alot of people because they thing that Visual Kei is something bad or Visual Kei is just not familiar to them. That is why we would like to make Visual Kei also fit for the everyday life and we want our customers not to be looked because they look strange but we want our customers to be looked because they look awesome and because they attract attention :).
Nowadays people want to attract attention!
When you "wear" Visual Kei, everybody has to look at you and that is a very important fact why alot of young people get attracted by Visual Kei.

2. What is Visual Kei and why do people like Visual Kei ?

2.Many people think that Visual Kei is something wicked or bad, but Visual Kei is just FUN , finding Friends and dressing up.
You could say that visual kei is a "masquerade" , people dress up to be something special , people dress up to take pictures to show friends or to go the conventions to show themself there.
It has nothing to do that Visu Fans scribe their arms before going to a concert - Visual Kei is something pretty harmless - and I have seen so many parents caring for their Children when they show interest for Visual kei , but Visual Kei is really harmless .
You could say that Gothic is a living philosophy and Visual Kei is just a masquerade.

3. Why do european people like japanese music and its Fashion? What is so outstanding?

3.One thing that is unbelievable is that some Japanese Bands have german or french Bandnames for instance one band is called "Schwarzstein" , japanese bands show interest for europe , for germany.
You can also find german or french words in their lyrics.

4. If someone wants to dress like a Visual Kei, what are the guidelines?

4. On the one hand it is multicolored and mixed, but on the other hand there are guidelines - For instance if you want to dress up like a Gothic Lolita, you need to follow specific guidelines, you wear black (same as the in europe known Gothic) and lapes but there is also the multicolored Visual Kei , people mix all the styles and then they have their own style - and that is what is so important with visual kei - "The visual Group" - Aesthetic and the apperance is very important.
that is why taking picture or portraits of theirself is so important for the Visual Kei Fans to exchange them virtual with their friends from around the world.

5. How many styles are there? Which style is currently IN or OUT? Can you descripe a tipical Visual Kei look?

5. There are a Punk - Rock - Kwaii - Gothic - Elegant well there are alot of styles , you can´t say that the Punk or Rock style is currently In, that is everyones individual choice which style someone like or dislike . Many people love to mix - they mix punk - rock and gothic and it inspires them.

6. How important are the Visual Kei Styles ?

6. Visual Kei is marked by the japanese music (Jrock) and the Visual Kei Fashion - Model - Trend and style is very important to these japanese bands because they would not be that outstanding without their unique fashion , that is what spots them , their individuality.
Every band has its own look.
